Description: Sicily. The problem of sharecropping oppresses farmers, especially in underdeveloped areas. A family with three sons cannot live off of only a vineyard. At least one of the sons has to find work elsewhere. The documentary reconstructs the touching phases of the young farmer’s departure and his moving last farewell to his sweetheart.
